Monday: The Janks @ the Bootleg Bar, playing with Tashaki Miyaki and Family of the Year (doors 7:00 p.m., free, 21+)
Tuesday: Jurassic Park @ the Hollywood Forever Cemetery (did i mention the FIREWORKS?!) (doors 7:30 p.m., suggested $10 donation at the gate, all ages)
Friday: The Entrance Band‘s lunchtime set @ the California Plaza downtown. (noon, free)
Saturday: Yacht, Papa, and Kisses @ the Vans Classic Summer Party (8:00 p.m., free with RSVP, 21+), or Suicide Girls’ pre-Comic-Con cosplay party @ Meltdown Comics (doors 7:00 p.m., free)
Sunday: Sanford Biggers & Marcus Samuelsson talk food @ the Hammer (3:00 p.m., no RSVP required) & San Perdro Squeeze accordian festival @ Grand Performances (8:00 p.m., free, all ages)
